  • Weird problem with Print to DVD

Has anybody else seen anything like this?

When I burn a current project to DVD it does some strange things on the final DVD -:

    -Certain fades are ignored
-Some audio tracks (not linked to clips) are shifted out of sync.

However the timeline is correct and plays correctly with all fades.

    As I said, weird!

Just me seeing this? I have tried it on 4.52 and 4.54 with the same result. I'm going to try encoding with procoder to see if that's the same.

    Stuart.
    Cheers,
    Stuart.

Update - Just confirmed that the same timeline output via procoder is ok. So appears to be a bug with print to DVD.
    Cheers,
    Stuart.

I've never really tested this as I always make an SD render of the section I need for DVD print, so it's always working from a single timeline file and not from a multiple tracked project - must test this out - very interesting!

Just tried an 8 minute project with 6 audio tracks, titles, audio from CD, HDV footage, stills sequences and After Effects opening sequence - all burned to DVD directly without a hitch. ( I'm running 4.54 )

Have just tried this and yes I am getting this as well. It is exactly the same problem i am getting with batch export (see thread http://ediusforum.grassvalley.com/fo...ead.php?t=3570

It seems to be to do with the last transition on the mixer track if you have transitions between the clips. Have a look at the attachments on my thread. If you split the last clip just before the transition it works fine.

Yep, that's exactly what happening for me. Phew, it's not just me!

GV, one for the bug list.
