  • Burn to disc

When exporting to disc I get an error massage "Encountered an improper argument" I click that of and the disc burner can not see the project. I am not arguing I am just asking nicely to burn a disc. lol. Any suggestions?
I am in Edius 6. The project is 1.43h and has 18 chapters.

I opened previous projects and new projects and they al work. The project has 4 different video formats on it. Could it just be a broken link? I made an mpg and it worked fine. I am going to replace the clips with the mpg, hope that works. Not looking forward to punching in al the chapter stops.

                Anton,

You recommend placing the marker one second after the last timeline element.

In NTSC, I haven't had a problem putting the out marker at the end of the last element on the timeline, which is usually just one second of black video after the final fade.

Does this accomplish the same thing?
                Regards,

                Jon

                  that will achieve the same

the thing is that DVD playback will stop at the start of the last GOP and this can be 15frames before the end, so playback may stop in the middle of the fade out, so I always add a sec by putting the out marker a sec after the end
