Width of Timeline Sequence Tabs

Can I change the maximum width of the timeline sequence tabs? (Seems to be fixed at about 15 characters.)

The default width doesn't display enough of the sequence naming scheme I'd like to use ('name' and 'variation') to be discerned without rolling over the tab.
