  • Print To Dvd Edius 4.54

I have just created a DVD using the Edius internal DVD creator. The DVD has three pages of menus with four buttons or sequences per page. I had no problem with the program, but when I play the dvd from page two or three it will revert to page one when a sequence finishes. It would seem that it should go back to the menu page that started the sequence. I cannot find a way to change this. Any help appreciated

you are talking about an advanced feature that may not be part of DVD creator

it is done easy in DVD-Lab Pro with the return to last menu object

Come on Anton... He's asking about DVD creator not DVD-Lab Pro.

It is in the advanced features menu. I like to have the DVD stop, but it will return to the main menu and previous menu too. Dig in the advanced menu.

If there's an advanced menu I also would like to find out where it is. Within the regular DVD Creator menu you can set any of the following under Write>Options
FIRST PLAY - Show Menu or Play 1st Movie.
AFTER MOVIE PLAYS - Back to Menu or Play Next Movie
AFTER LAST MOVIE - Back to Menu or Repeat Play From 1st Movie or Stop Playing

I would also like to be able to include music while the menu is being displayed. I didn't see anything about that in the instructions. Also, when a menu button is clicked to go to another menu page, is there a way to make it fade or disolve to the new page. In other words, is there a way to include a transition?

The DVD Creator app does not support motion menus, transitions, nor audio tracks for menus.

Print-2-DVD also works w/HDV projects (although slower)

DVD Creator is only meant as a BASIC DVD creator if you want to get really good you need a proper Authoring program like DVDLab Pro or what ever your choice is. Encore, DVD Workshop etc
There is not ANY NLE program that does other than Basic DVD creation.
Not much better than a stand alone DVD recorder
