  • Saving DVD Menus

Is there a way of saving DVD Menus? I have a project, our recent trip to San Francisco & Panama Canal Cruise, there are 3 different sequences, each requiring a different DVD Menu! If I create a menu in one particular sequence in "Burn to DVD" when I go into a different sequence to create it`s own menu, it overwrites the previous one & I was hoping there was a way of saving individual menus, I`m using Edius 6.05 & havn`t upgraded as I would have to purchase items that came with 6.05 like Mercali etc & to be honest, 6.05 works fine considering our equipment & field of operations!

If functionality of this type is what you require, you might want to look into this product: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/taw5.html

Yes, it would be a two step process. However, you will have more control over the menus, functions and export quality. Plus you
get a simulation view of your disc.

Thanks Jerry! I use Encore most of the time for commercial projects and wanted a simple solution to authoring from within Edius, I guess that`s not to be!

If you're using Encore, as I do, stick with it. It's hard to match the functionality....especially if you know how to use Encore, and incorporate Photoshop and AE.

            Thanks Jerry, will do!

Could always export it to our old Liquid system! That REALLY knew how to author direct from the timeline :-)
