Hang in there...

It sounds like you have a "selection" issue. Edius deletes whatever you have selected at the time, not what you would like to select. Also... if nothing is selected, nothing is deleted.

Confused yet? You should be!

Play around with Ripple Mode on/off too, you'll get it... eventually.

Hi folks,

I'm still new to Edius and after using DV Storm for so long this seems so more comlicated to me. I've been wrestling with some clips - basically I have a clip which I put in the time-line, cut, then moved the cut piece on the right further down the timeline. I then put in another piece of video next to the clip I was working on. Now, when I try to move or deleate the piece I moved further down the timeline it moves or deleats the edit I want to keep. It's kind of difficult to explain, but I hope you can get the picture. I checked out the on-line tutorials, but it didn't seem to help. I'm begining to feel dumber and dumber and more frustrated the more I work on it! Any help would be so appreciated - Thanks!!
