I have read about the old intel driver issue.
Can I install the old driver on 6700K CPU and ASRock Z170 Extreme 7+ motherboard?
No you can't use older drivers as the older drivers won't recognize the Intel GPU so won't install, and I found I had to use the latest Intel driver ending in 4300 otherwise files came in green inside EdiusDVC Built Clevo P775DM3-G Laptop with UHD screen, 7700K [email protected], Geforce GTX 1060 6GB GPU, 500GB M.2 Primary, 1x 480GB SSD, 1x1TB M.2, 1x 2TB 5400RPM Video drives, external Blu-ray Optical
