Dvd Authoring from Edius 8.1 Timeline

Hello everybody.

I have just finished a HD project and now i want to make a DVD from the Edius "Burn to disk" option.
The only option that i have is Bluray probably due to the material which is HD (1440*[email protected])...
Although i have created the Chapter markers, and finished the Menus in Edius Dvd Authoring Application, the option "DVD" remains Grey (not selectable)
I changed the project's settings to 720*576-16:9 but the field order is not selectable so that i change it to upper fields(now it is progressive)
I created a new project with DVD settings 720*576 16:9 with upper field and opened the saved HD project there which also came to nothing....
what do i have to do in order to burn the project to a DVD? As far as i know The Bluray does not have the structure of a DVD where an IFO file "opens" the Structure and shows the Menu and Titles...???
Which is the equivalent file to IfO in the case of Bluray?
I followed the guide of Antonsvideo in order to downconvert a HD project and make a DVD, but i can not understand how to change the field order since the option is not selectable...
Do i have to manually change the field order in every file seperately? I hope not (it is over 65 files that need to be changed....) (4 Pages with Chapters, Title Chapters,.....7 sequences in Total...)
Many questions, i am sorry if i have confused you , this is the first time for me to Create something so complicated and it is not the first time that you have helped me a lot and gave solution to the issues i had.
So your help is needed and appreciated !!!

I have recently made a DVD from a 28 sequence project in Edius 8.089 which was 1920 by 1080 upper field first (50i) and it burnt OK excepting one button thumbnail was blank. I then chose another picture from the timeline as Edius didn't like the jpeg on the timeline, which I had selected as the button picture all went well after that.

DVD needs to be from a 50i or 60i project not progressive.

Have you tried putting a blank DVD in the recorder first?

The DVD option can not be selected. It says only output to BD.
There is nothing i can do to change this...
I have already created a very nice Bluray but i don't know whatelse to do in order to make a DVD with the same material,chapters, sounds e.t.c...
