Windows defender was disabled from the prior attempt of version 8 and no security essentials. I have not tried Revo uninstaller, i will try that next week.

If you uninstall it again and without antivirus running, you might need to manually remove the folder users>current user(i.e. your logon)>AppData>Roaming>Grass Valley.

Then empty the temp folder in the same location.

also delete the folder C/program data/grass valley prior to reinstalling
