    Please explain. I dont see how Rackmount cases would effect the footprint of a PCi-e card in any way.

    When I used tower cases this was a big problem, even back in Rex days.

    I now use rack mount cases with support from above and there is no problems. Maybe not the solution you were after, but it works for me!

    Arnold's current solution involves additional hair gel.

    PCI-e NX mounting

    I just built a PC for customer with PCI-e NX

    I am concered about the missing support for the card at the rear end

    the PCI-e is so narrow that you can see the whole card wobble around when inserting and removing video connectors at the card edge, this surely will cause mobo connection problems further down the track? there must be an optional rear card support?

    the previous PCI-X models were rock solid mounted due to the wide slot, you could not wobble them even with Arnold Schwarzenegger hands
