Edius WG8 DVD creator App

Win 7 Edius WG8

1920 by 1080 50i project.

Burnt 1 DVD OK from a 28 sequence project 2.47 Hours worth of material.

Although the DVD worked fine I got an error message "The request could not be completed because of an I/O device error".

Then I corrected some mistakes on the video in certain sequences and burnt again I got

Burn to Disc [General]
Medium not present - Tray open (my comment: yes the tray was open as it had finished burning)

Error code 83453a02L

Then after saying OK to that I got

Error: writing disc was cancelled Code:00000003

Hmm rather puzzling especially as I can't see anything wrong with the result on the DVD.

Yes Eset Nod 32 with GV folder excluded.

You only have 32bit program folders excluded. EDIUS 8WG is a 64bit program and is in Program Files and not in Program files 86

also, you need to exclude two more folders in appdata/roaming and in program data

also, I would exclude the drive or folder that holds the clips used by EDIUS

Weirdly button 25 page 3 didn't show on the DVD menu after burning the ones that errored. I changed the button picture to another spot on the timeline and no errors after burn and the button picture showed on checking the disk.

Something to do with the jpeg on the timeline?

Yes they are that was because I hadn't scrolled down all 64 bit plus other folders as you suggest were already exluded Jerry.
