Alpha channel

I have a friend who I turned onto Edius, she is having a problem I am cuurently away from home so I dont have Edius infront of me. She is bringing in stills from power point which are probabaly not 720x480 she is seeing edges around the graphics key out when she puts the over video. Is there a way to turn the alpha channel off?

Using 4.5?

Open the video layout tool and change the Fill Color %age option from 0 to 100
