  • No Sound in Edius - Windows 10

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has come up with a fix for the lack of sound on Edius Windows 10

I'm on an Asus GVW75 and apparently they're known to have driver issues for sound with Windows 10. I've managed to fix it in other programs, and edius is running smoothly expect for this sound issue..

My husband Just found a fix for me!
He went into the program folder, clicked on Edius properties, and he checked 'Run in Compatability Mode for Windows 7' and then he checked 'Always run as administrator'

Now Edius is working fine with Windows 10 :) WOOHOO

Hopefully this post helps somebody else

I am running EDIUS 8 on Windows 10 and have not had a problem with sound. Just in case it will help other users what version of EDIUS are you using?

        Is Windows 10 worth it?

I have Edius 7.5 and have no current need (or money) to upgrade to 8. I'm running it on Windows 7 and have had no serious issues.

Is it worth even considering upgrading to the free Windows 10, or am I just going to be borrowing trouble with my Edius 7.5?

Is anyone using 7.5 with Windows 10 and is satisfied with Edius' performance?
