  • 3dl file in Edius?

I found a cinematographer who has some really nice luts for all NLE softwares (well I didnt see EDius there though) and he send me one Lut to test with Edius. The file is a .3dl and tried many ways but nothing works.
I have read and also ask in some threads about lut and i know that it is not possible to import in Edius but I never saw this 3dl file before so I gave it a shot....
If someone has more knowledge on this please help!
    Thank you

No answer so I suppose that 3dl is not working with Edius.
Hope in Edius 8 that they will include Lut soon as they have already mentioned.

LUT support won't show up until the new color grading features are added. I wouldn't expect it this year.
Until then, have you tried MB Looks?

Throughout the life of EDIUS 8.x there will continuous improvements, all provided at no extra cost to users. New features planned for future releases include:

      Motion tracking
      High quality slow-motion (optical flow)
      Closed captioning support (view/editing)
      New color grading mode
      RAW support
      LOG/LUT support
Scalable 125%/150%/200% display delivers a more consistent experience across devices, including HiDPI Windows 8.1/10 displays
      Background rendering
      Frame rate converter
      Loudness auto adjust
      (feature list subject to change)

Yes Jerry. Its also a good starting point eventhough Its "too much" for my taste. Every "look" its too extreme and it needs a lot of work but yes, I have a starting point..
