Quick titler problems

This might be my fault because I might have mistakenly change some settings but , now when I open the titler it is not creating separately in the timeline neither the :
Video Channel track T nor the Title in new title track . . . . it just inserts / overwrite a title track directly over the regular video (1V ) track.

Do I need to reset some settings ?

make sure timeline in and out are not marked, press X to clear in and out

what happens if you right click an empty track where you want the title and choose new clip, quicktitler (the right click way always works)

also, is the V patch enabled in the track header

also, where is the V patch? if using the title tool button, you need to drag the V patch to the desired track

and most importantly, what exact version EDIUS are you using?

You have the V Track Patch on the wrong track.

As Anton suggested, the best way to create a title is just right cluck on the track where you want it to go.
