  • "Missing" Video Filters (Pro 7.5)???

    Hello. Relatively 'novice user' here.

I want to utilise the stabiliser feature but on opening the 'Video Filters' folder (in the 'Effect' folder), the only option is 'Color Correction'. I've referred to 'online help' which says that I should see a bunch of other video-related filters - not just the CC filter.

I've also logged-in to my GV account to see if there is additional 'effects' software that I am supposed to install but there's nothing there.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) but can't imagine that my issue would be related to the OS.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    cheers.

Have you clicked on "video filters" in the FX tree. This will open the panel to the right and list all the filters including the Stabilizer.

7.5 is not certified for Win 10 and from the looks of it, will not be.
If your intention is to run Edius 7.5 on Win 8 you will probably encounter some problems. Did you take advantage of the Edius 8 upgrade program?

If you're new to Edius you might want to do a search on Youtube for Edius 7 tutorials.
These might get you up to speed.

Thanks for the info and image. I had not realised that the 'Effect' palette should be 'widened' to reveal the built-in effects; I had assumed that these effects would be individually listed under the 'Video Filters' folder of the tree - just as 'Color Correction' is listed. Never assume (as 'they' are wont to say)!

Now that I have manually expanded the width of the 'Effect' palette, I can now see all the filters.

        Thanks for the timely help.
