I initially installed the 8 Pro trial and then activated the 8 WG license so both show up in my license list. I then turned off the 'show license expiration warning" setting. After a couple of days I still get the warning pop up for the trial expiring.

I have never used the trial, does it allow online deactivation? If so, it should vanish from the list

That happened with an earlier version, only time will tell
I don't have that problem, I cloned my system back before I loaded 8
