  • Best worflow converting HD project to SD dvd w/ edius 6.55

Shot a wedding with Canon T3i and edited everything in HD timeline. I'm going to be putting it in a DVD using Edius dvd authoring. So i'm just wondering what the best workflow in getting my HD project to into an SD DvD. Thanks in advance..

Set your project to SD with Landzcos 3 scalling, if your titles are in V or VA tracks everything should scale correctly
IF you have used the "T" track check title sizing as it does not scale

Note: if you used any layouter rotation in your HD project, do not switch to SD because the result will look out of focus (soft)

instead, in project settings, set render codec to Lossless, them mark in at start of timeline and out at the end

now press Shift+Q, this will render to Lossless HD and place on empty track above

now switch project to SD with Lanczos3 enabled in the SD project settings and make your DVD
