Thanks - just trying to simplify!
    Alan

there is nothing to lose by using the Pro version until you get the WG serial

once the WG serial arrives, open license manager and click online deactivation, this returns the EDIUS 8 Pro serial count, however the serial will become invalid after around 2 weeks so you can't use it on any other PC after you activated the WG serial

then start EDIUS and enter the WG serial, done

        Good morning Anton,

Not my question. I didn't and don't want to install Pro first and then deactivate the Serial #. My computer is NOT hooked to Internet. My question was - can I install the EDIUS 8 download and immediately put in the WORKGROUP serial #, skipping the PRO serial #. The old PRO serial will be deactivated automatically in 2 weeks anyway.

        Sorry - but I must have mis-communicated.

yes, sorry, you can enter the WG serial

Australia is still waiting for regular serials, once these arrive (if they arrive before the 31st), customers be able to apply for the free workgroup

Looks like it's not only Australia but entire Asia ......

I had put in my order way before 8 was released to if the rules of first come first serve I do make a very good chance to have a first :)

Question to GV; if the serials do come late and we can't apply for the workgroup upgrade in time before expiration of current offer, do we (in Asia) get a extension after end of this month ?

If it's like ours then they should be via email as ours came as a set of serial numbers only
