  • Interview with mono mic: I need to listen the audio from two speakers

Hi, I have made an interview with a mono mic. Now when I listen that clip I listen that audio from one speaker only. Even if I put the same audio clip on the second Edius audio track, the audio goes out only from one speaker. I need to listen it from two speakers. But I need to modify only that clip and not all clips on the timeline. Is it possible?
    Thanks for your suggestion.

If you want to just monitor on both speakers, open the audio mixer, look to the right of Master and click on the speaker with the arrow. Select Monaurel. You should hear everything on both speakers.

To actually change it, use the Pan pot Balance effect and center the audio (I kerp this a a user preset).

if you are using a stereo track, right click, properties, audio tab, select mono1 or mono2 depending on which channel is the good sound, done

using this method will keep the volume level

using panpot filter will lower the volume

Mic was plugged by micro jack. Incorporate mic is stereo but I think it has one channel for external mick. I chose manual audio.

if you right click your clip and go to audio tab, is stereo, mono1 and mono2 grayed out, or can it be changed?

if grayed out, you have a pure mono track

if not grayed out, you have a stereo track with good sound one one channel and bad sound (or no sound) on the other

if so, click mono1 or mono2 depending on which has the good sound
