I am capturing video thru edius and a 110 canopus box conncted to a dvcpro deck. I am getting the first frame as a still in my bin window. Any way to stop this?

Not sure if I understand you but there are a number of options in the Bin view settings you can elect to have eg details, icons, etc. You can also change the icon that represents the clip in the bin too. Have a look around in the bin/options/view and you will see. What relevant data you want displayed can be customised as well.peterC

Capturing
When I capture, it grabs the first frame and makes that a clip in my bin and then another clip of the rest of the video. I get two icons in my bin when I am capturing.Comment

Go into Settings > Deck Settings and turn off everything under "Automatically Divide Files" except "At Timecode Break". Press OK and capture again. It will be ok now.Comment
