  • Upgrade/jump price confusion

I was using Edius 6.5 when I received a notice of the upgrade/jump offer. The offer was not at all clear as to the pricing. I did the upgrade/jump to 7.5 for 299 Euros.(?) Now it seems I could have upgraded to the Workgroup version if I paid 399 Euros. To me it seemed I had to upgrade for the 299 Euros and spend and additional 399 Euros to get the Workgroup version.

So If a person had 6.5 and wanted to go the Edius 8 Workgroup route could I have done it for 399 Euros or not?

This is/was not clear at all!
Edius 8 Workgroup, Intel 3770K, Asus P8Z77-V Motherboard, 32GB DDR3 1600 ram, SSD for C, external Raid box with WE RE4 1TB drives Raid 0 for video assets. Overclocked 4.3ghz, Asus GTX 660 ti, water cooled system. Windows 10 Professional 64bit

The jump upgrade was $299 from Neo-Edius 6.5x.
The $199 update is for the Edius 7.x to Edius 8 upgrade.
The $399 price, AFAIK, is for upgrading from Edius 7 Pro to Edius 8 Workgroup.

NO. The uprade price from 6.5 to Workgroup 8 is MSRP 900,- Euro plus tax until the end of the year.

So you're still saving money when you first purchased the jump upgrade and now take the Workgroup offer:

      300 (jump) + 400 (Workgroup) = 700 (all without tax)
