Leading Japanese Video Magazine features EDIUS 8

When I opened my copy of "Video Salon" this morning I could find two prominent articles about EDIUS 8 and the new GV Browser.
The GV Browser article was in a 32 page supplement to the magazine dealing with the Canon XC10 camera.
I am attaching scans from the 4 pages.
All in Japanese, of course. I will have to take some time to sift through it with the help of my wife before I know if there is anything further to report.

According to the articles, it would seem that (in Japan at least) the first 60 days will work without any internet connection being required!
Also there is a crossgrade available (in Japan) for users of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer.

PS. Just to make it clear, the articles are for EDIUS in Japan. Whether or not the same conditions will be applied abroad is something I cannot comment on.
