upgrading to 7.0 question

I have 6.08 on my computer. Am building a 2nd system.
I will be buying the 299 7.0 upgrade.
Can I just install that on my new computer or does it have to be on the one I have 6.08 on?
Im assuming I enter the serial number off my 6 disc to be able to dl 7?

You can just install it straight onto the new system. Assuming you are buying the jumpgrade it will install without any need for an earlier version to be installed first.

When you buy the Jumpgrade you should get sent information on how to register and download version 7. Once downloaded just install that and enter the serial number provided
