Device Doesn't Support Current Format- Software Mode

I'm new to Edius and this is the first time I installed my Edius CD about a week ago. I'm running version 7.21.822.

I keep getting an error message saying. Device Doesn't Support Current Format Switch to Software Mode.
I looked it up and found this thread: http://forum.grassvalley.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=22999

My question is, does this error message still exist within my new version mentioned above. And if not how can I fix it?

Also may I clarify with you. I should not worry about this message when I see it pop up?

You do not need to worry about this message. It just means that the project format doesn't match the formats supported by your hardware output device which normally defaults to OHCI(DV).
If you want to stop seeing this message then you need to go into the 'Settings' menu, 'System Settings', 'Hardware','Preview Device' and untick 'Display a warning message...'

As long as I know everything is fine I'll just disregard the message.
