Can I "Render and Replace" All Timeline Clips with new HQ renders?

I'm cutting AVCHD footage straight from a memory card (which has been added to the bin via the source browser.)

Is there a simple method that allows me to render all the clips out in HQ format, and replace the AVCHD clips with the rendered HQ clips? The project file and (hopefully) rendered HQ versions would then be on the media drive. At that point I can eject the disk and carry on with the project in HQ.

('Consolidate Project' would work for this, if I could reencode the original AVCHD to Canopus HQ during the backup/consolidation.)

I think I used to do this in Premiere, but can't piece the workflow together in Edius. Thanks.

Very easy solution
Download and install AVCHD2HQ converter from the GV download section where you update Edius but go to the Utilities section

It will place 2 icons on your desktop, open AVCHD2HQ and set the directory to save the files to
Set the HQ encoding to "Fine"
Close AVCHD2HQ
In windows explorer go to the Camera Memory Card, select ALL files
Drag the files to the AVCHD2HQ icon
The converter will convert all the files in Bulk
Remove the Memory Card
Restart Edius all the files will be shown as "Offline"
Use the file Restore method, By opening the restore window (File<>Restore Offline Clips) and select ALL when the window opens
Under the "Restore Method" tab select "Directory" and navigate to the directory you converted the files to
Edius will tell you if it found them as the names are the same
