Thanks Anton. I tried all the things you suggested but it still does it.

I tried changing the refresh to 60hz in windows but it keeps going back to 59hz for some reason.

I don't know, its really starting to aggravate me. We haven't experienced any problems with other software or the hardware etc... :-/

could it be a corrupt project itself? if you start a new project and add one clip, does it play smooth with full buffer?

also start new project, add one of the troublesome clips, go to layouter, set to % at top right and then make sure that all possible values are at 100% and 0%, if not, set to either 100% or 0% where needed and store this setting at bottom left of the layouter

pay special attention to drop shadow, if that is enabled, it quickly empties the buffer

Thanks Anton, I did what you said. Something I noticed.

A new project using the same clips plays fine even with multiple edius filters. Sharpness and color correction. Buffer is working good.

However, when we add New Blue FX Color Fixer Pro the buffer drops and the stuttering begins.

Our 6.08 systems play fine even with the same version ColorFixer Pro, sharpness added to the clips.

Did 6.5 change something on how the filters are Handled?

NewBlue has always been troublesome....try checking for an update, I have not used those filters o any of my projects, I do use a few, and they slow me down a lot....I use the builtin colour filters from Edius, and they wok great......I edit in 10bits, rather than 8bits, so I get some good results

you need to make sure that GPU use has not been disabled in Newblue, click the small i

the more powerful your graphics card, the better realtime with newblue

all newblue are realtime for me with Quadro K4000 but a GFX 970 or 980 will be even better

I just wanted to give an update on this. I have tried all the suggestions and even lowering the resolution on the New Blue Plugin to 25% and still stutters.

I went into the info setting on the plugin and selected disable gpu and set the resolution back to 100% and the stuttering disappeared.

Just in case it was the card, I recently changed to the Nvidia 760GPU with 4gb ram, so don't understand whats going on. I even upgraded to the latest version of the filter.

So, right now everything is working good with the gpu disabled in the Colorfixer Pro.
