  • Nudging in Layouter

You want to move an item in layouter- you can do it manually and constrain the axis with the shift key or you can adjust the values with the thumb wheel. Is there a way of using the arrow keys (like you can in Photoshop and similar) ?

I don't know if this is what you want, but if you click on the position axis that you want to adjust, and instead of using the scroll wheel to change the values, just use the up or down arrow key. Any item with a value can be adjusted this same way.

What I want to do is nudge the item with the arrows without going to the values, just as I would in Photoshop.

Just for my info, but why would you want to do that when roiling the mousewheel is faster?

          Hi Pat
I dont want to nudge the values (numerics) i know I can do that with mouse wheel/arrows or overwrite. I want to nudge the object- like you can do in Vistitle - you can position with the Up/Down Left/Right Keys without going anywhere near the numbers.
          Thanks

IT maybe because there is no SMPTE standard for 50P timecode.
So I think MC handles it by using 25P and pairing frames.
Look at the timecode and you may see it count in 25 not 50.
I think this is so you have compatability with 25fps systems.
