Could you give a step by step on how you did things because I don't get the same reaction.

The insert/overwrite issue has already been reported.

Is your column width (forgiveness) like the attachment?

          on german localized Edius 7.5
column width from "Clip Name" ... have here the same unwanted "special-rules" as the movie from Jerry documented

if you make the same "smaller" ritual... with the column >File Name<
with this column => all is fine ... remember every time the last setting for width..

I will look in other (earlier) Version from Edius, to campare:
it is only and new in 7.5, or it is a old "feature"

            hello to "Sunny Italia"
confirmed as new "bug" .......and it is only in 7.50 available

            cross-check now done on:
            Edius 6.08
            Edius 6.51
            Edius 7.42

on all above tested versions , is this "feature" not available

I know they are, of course, no longer fixing/servicing this version (7.5), but did the column thing ever get fixed or did anyone perhaps figure out a way to edit a cfg file or something to make it stick?

Only other thing I know to do is go back to 7.42 I guess? I'm off to look up the changelog for that version to 7.5. Or does anyone recall the the main differences. It might be worth it for me if it is minor stuff or changes to things that don't effect me, as this really drives me nuts.

EDIT: Found the changes in 7.5 ... there are a few significant ones (to me anyway), so I don't think I would want to roll back.
