  • Audio Sync after 3 seconds

    Edius 6.06
    Windows 7 64-bit

I have a unique issue where during editing playback, the audio plays perfectly for about 3 seconds then gets off sync. If I pause the video and play again from where I paused it, it will play perfectly then get out of sync again. In the end, if I pause it every 2.5 seconds it will be in sync.

I've re-installed the software to no avail.

I've imported the exact video clip to another computer and it works, so it's not the video file.

I've imported the profile and settings from another working computer and it doesn't work.

I've even installed it to a totally fresh copy of Windows 7 on a completely different hard drive, so it must be hardware related. So, before I start attempting to replace each part one by one, can someone point me in the possible right direction?

    Thanks,

It's with any video from any source. Mainly imported from P2 Panasonic, but we get video from our Marketing department in the form of HD MPG, FLVs, MP4s.

Every video I tried had this issue and the video does perfectly fine on other editors with identical setups. But, this particular one is an MP4:

        1 video stream: AVC
        1 audio stream: AAC
        Overall bit rate: 617 Kbps
        gsst: 0
        gstd: 93900

        First video stream:
519 Kbps, 640*360 (16:9), at 23.976 fps, AVC ([email protected]) (1 Ref Frames)

        First audio stream:
96 Kbps, 44.1 KHz, 2 channels, AAC (LC)

        Thanks.
