Hi:
CCleaner is a Tool to clear out Windows and the registry.
I dont think that one should use it when running other applications.
I for myself use CCleaner on the end of the day, only when no other programs are running (and use it over years without problems - and without problems concerning Edius too).

Correct. CCleaner is one of the best apps that through out the years never caused any problems to either windows or Edius.
similar to cleaning my temp file I run this app daily.

thank you to all your answers and comments. I could go back to a previous version of the project, before updating to 7.50 and opened with the 7.42 version. Everything is in his place. The sound offsets are because I work with an external sound device. I use 8 tracks because I had originally the project with left and right channels. So, in fact there are 4 channels. Maximum use of Edius in the Task Manager is 2,4 Gb. The raid is un his 75% capacity. The project is 1,36 Gb. There are all kind of videos (VOB, mpeg, Avchd, mov and mp4) and photos (mostly jpeg and TGA). There is any limit for sequences? I open one for each location to sincronize there audio and video with PluralEyes. With this project Edius (and Windows) hangs one or two times per day. I save automatically every 3 min.

I would try updating one more time:
1. uninstall bitdefender
2. empty Temp folder (users/username/appdata/local/temp)
3. apply the 7.5.191 update installer and reboot
4. go to project folder with win explorer and copy/paste the project file, this will add - Copy.ezp to project name
5. open EDIUS and load the xxx - Copy.ezp

if the project works fine, you can reinstall bitdefender and exclude all GV folders

if the project is corrupt again, uninstall EDIUS and reinstall 7.42 and open the original project

Make sure Windows Defender is also disabled

Thank you Anton. I will try it when I finish the project. I think Grass Valley has to take a look to the last update, because what happened to me is not normal: allmost all the effects were missing from the information window. Audio and video, even ColorFast, for example. I followed two years ago your advises to configure windows and so Defender is disabled.
