When you click on a clip, normally appears in the information window the "distribution creator" (in spanish creador de distribución) which allows to rotate, enlarge or move a clip. In this new update this feature is missing in many clips.

If you mean the "Layouter" - it works fine on my system.

I have never seen Layouter not appear. Make sure the clip is highlighted.

a) Make sure (like Pat wrote) the clip is highlighted
b) and the "focus" is on the right part from the clip

focus = the blue rectangle
VA track have 3 parts = video / audio / mixer
and the focus is always ... only on one part from the 3

Thank you for all your answers. I don't use VA, I always use V and A. But I discovered that if I change the video clip to V2, the Layouter appears and when I put again in V1 it still remains. So it is clear that there is something wrong with this 7,50 update. That has never happened with previous versions of Edius.

Did you install it with an antivirus running?

I would uninstall, then reinstall and as Jerry stated, Make sure AV is off. You are the only person that has mentioned this on the update, so I don't think the problem is in the update itself.

Layouter works fine for me. Sure seems to load much faster for me. So far everything is working great.

yes, I installed with Bitdefender running. May I have to uninstall Edius completely? Or maybe I reinstall the previous update and reinstall later the new one? Thanks

Personally, I would download the Full Installer listed above the update in the registered users section. The removes and re-installs the update. You will have to install the DVD templates yourself. The download for these are found within the same area as the Edius download under Utilities.
Make sure Bit Defender is turned off before starting.

I had the full instaler EDIUS_7.20_0437_DL_Setup on my computer and made a full install with this and after I updated with the last one. Everything with Bitdefender deactivated, but the problem remains. Is better to work also with the antivirus deactivated? Very often when saving Edius hangs completely and have to reset the computer. The project is very large (1,36 Tb) with lots of photographs and diferent kind of videos. It takes over 45 seconds to save when it succeed.

In some cases the anti virus needs to be uninstalled to get a good install. For normal operation, you can exclude GV files from the antivirus and edit without issues.

Why didn't you download the 7.5x full installer?

I would download the full installer of 7.50

If Bitdefender does not allow to exclude the Grass Valley folders and Media storage location, remove it and use eset Nod32 antivirus, it allows setting exclusions

problem with layerouter

I uninstalled the antivirus and made a full install of 7.50 version but the problem is still. The layerouter of a big amount of clips doesn't appear in the information window . I can solve this problem by moving each clip from V1 to V2. Then the Layerouter appears and I put back the clip in V1. Bitdefender can exclude folder from the antivirus, so I did it. I attach an Edius system report.
