        Hi:
I have downloaded and installed 7.5 without any problems. But:

        1) "Change sequence name simultaneously on the timeline and in the Bin".

It does not work on my system (or I understood it in a wrong way).
Please: Can you tell me how I can use this new feature. What should I do in the BIN precisely to get something more than in 7.42.
        2) "• Save still image using [View] > [Pause Field]." I cant see there any difference - the same options are in 7.42.
How is this new Feature to interprete ?
Thanks in advance for your help - kurt

Awesome. While others may not see some of these "smaller" fixes, as being a big deal. This particular one, at least for me, is well worth the download and update.

Let's hope that this is a sign that some of the other historic GUI and workflow oddities are being looked into.

          Nice one GV.

              hello kurt

looks like more as only "rename sequence" for me...

(for me) new contex menu point => named "Rename related clips"
works for sequences, but ditto for all clips they are on bin / timeline

you can rename all (i.e. 8 instanzes + subclips) from a clip, in one step
              from the bin

should imho more explanation, as the poore five words in the ReadMe...

Whether you open the sequence setting from the timeline or the bin you have to select the sequence.
The screen shots were taken after selecting the sequence in the bin and then right clicking to bring up the sequence setting panel. Changing the name here, changes it everywhere.

                Sequene Name Change.png
                Before
                Sequence Change after.png
                After

You can access the sequence setting from the sequence header on the timeline and it will change the bin title.

                  hello Jerry

If I remember correct, , your above documented way over "sequence setting"
works since version 6.0 or 5.0 exact this way ....

so it is for my no New Features of Version 7.50b191 => • Change sequence name simultaneously on the timeline and in the Bin.

Cross that out. I just tried it in 6.54 and it works both ways. Back to the drawing board. I don't remember if this was broken in earlier versions of 7.
Dave, does this work the way you thought it should work?

That is what I was thinking too.
I tried the "new" way and it does not change the Sequence name on the timeline, if I change the name of the sequence in the bin.
Changing in the Sequence settings dialogue box works as it always has - it changes the bin name as well.

Ah, you beat me to it, Jerry

The change the sequence settings was also working in EDIUS 7 as you described above.

So far trying to change from the bin is not changing the name in the sequence settings

If you right click on the sequence in the bin and open sequence settings you can can change the name in the bin and on the timeline. Or visa versa.
I'm just trying to figure what the new way is.
