I think this is just an accidental omission of 6.5. Even GV has problems remember the number structure :) I'm sure this will be corrected after NAB and all will be right in the world.

Great, though that doesn't explain why Holden in the UK aren't even aware of this promotion. :(
The site quotes the cost in Dollars and Euro's and makes no mention of a British Pound price?

I really do hope that the UK hasn't been excluded from the promo but for something which started on the 11th it's bad for the official distributor in the UK to not know anything about it :(

Yes, that's a typo - it should be 6.5, not 6.0 and it will be fixed today.

Holdan were not aware because we only announced it on Monday, but we met with them at NAB yesterday and they will be up to speed very soon. There are no regional exclusions, apart from Japan.

EDIUS Upgrade Promotion - Jump to it!

any EDIUS Neo user (versions 1 to 3.5) or EDIUS Pro user (versions 1 to 6.0)
will be able to upgrade to EDIUS 7.5 for just $299/€299.
This update will also include a free update to the next major version of EDIUS when it is available.

The Jump upgrade to EDIUS 7.5 will be available through participating channel partners
and will be provided in serial key format only, not as a packaged product.
That means you download the software and enter a serial number that you get with your upgrade.

Is there "Participating Channel Partner" with a website where we can purchase the Serial Number? Band H doesn't seem to be on board yet. I have a second license that I haven't upgraded for a while that I would like to bring up to 7.

Received this email response from videoGuys a few minutes ago:

"Hi Harris-

Yes. We will have the EDIUS 7.5 Upgrade toward the end of next week at $299 with a free upgrade to 8 when it's released. I can send you an email when we have all the information to have it set-up.

So, he says the free upgrade is to 8.

I hope it provides support for 4K resolution monitors.
It's great being able to edit 4k, but it's impossible if the UI of Edius is so tiny that it needs a magnifier to see what you are doing on the timeline.
