Changing Transitions and Filters?

the blend filter can also be used to overcome the broken keyframer in the YUV curve filter

I agree with Anton, I'd use the blend filter. But then there is always the old school way of making a file of the clip with the added noise and then put it on the timeline under the orginal clip and then adjust transparency to create a dissolve between that and the original clip. I think that would be easier and look better than chopping it into many little pieces.

hi, I am new user of edius pro 3, but I have one big problem with filters too.. I worked with vegas 6.0 before it, and there was available keyframes and timeline for each filter, but I cant't find that in edius, only in 3d pip is keyframes and timeline..

there is some way how to make, for example, video noise filter to become slowly?!

the way I did it is to cut video in to small peaces and putted the filter on each peace but with different strengh..:)

try the blend filter, filter 1 with little noise, filter 2 with more noise and turn on the keyframer

Once the transition is applied, double click it in the information palette. That should bring up the dialoge box that swill allow you you to customize it.

Hi - Sorry if I sound a little dumb but I'm still trying to find my way around my new software. The question - how do I change the various configurations of, lets say a ripple transition into the next clip? When I open the effects pallet and see the transition I want, I can't see how to manipulate it to the way I want it to look. Does that make sense?
