In Canopus (Glass Valley) website, there is a page listing all the motherboards that are tested by them to be compatible or not compatible. It is not 100% comprehensive - but, should give you a good starting point.

Yes but there are not that many boards there, and they are all very old...

I want a board that i can upgrade to the new Penryn processor next year.

well i think it is worth waiting till the new list comes out. I hope it is this month.

Unfortunately, the upcoming list additions don't include any Microstar boards.

I spy ASUS, Intel and Gigabyte boards. Ten in total.
