Edius 6.08 - stop launching

On a station, Edius 6.08 worked fine during more than one year.
But a few days ago, it launches until the middle of the progressing bar and it poofs.
I unisntalled it and re-install : no luck, it'is poofing at every launch.

There is no AV on the station.

I don't found the initial reason nor the workaround.

is the Dongle from Vistitle correct recognized in the device-manger??

all plug in folder, moved temporarily to dektop, did help ??

Vistitle isn't installed.
No problem on hardware.
Others applications work fine : Adobe CS, ...

sorry to say that you should contact GV as I have no idea what's happening.

Have you tried using Ctrl+Alt+Delete (Task Manager) and see if it shows up as an active program when it's booting? Maybe something blocks the program from launching??

what happens if you double click a project file in windows explorer? does your PC have automatic windows updates enabled? If yes, that is what went wrong, search installed updated by date and uninstall the latest ones

also, make sure the sound card is working fine because EDIUS6 will not complete a launch if it detects any issues with the sound card

Ah, the sound card, it's an idea but I don't think (the second partition is OK).
For the windows updates, it's possible.

On this station (not mine), there is another OS (XP also) on a separate HDD with Edius 5.51 installed.
I installed Edius 6.08 on it, and all is fine.
Hardware inside : NX + Firecoder cards.

If I don't solve the problem on the first OS, I'll use the second one.
But I would like found an explanation.
In a few days, I'll test again.

it could be a corrupt driver of the sound card, all you need to do is remove the latest installed windows updates and see if it solves the issue

Ok, I'll try it in the next days.

But it's strange the second OS is ok (same Win updates, I think).

I try many things on the first partition XP : unistall XP updates, ... Edius 6.08 still doesn't start.
I forget this partition and install all log on the second one.
No problem at all.
I updates the last XP updates and stop every one after.
All is fine now.
