  • Displaying Recording Date & Time on/off as a filter

Is there an HD edius alternative to the nice plugin at http://dvdate.ru/ ?

It's a filter that allows you to briefly display the original date/time of the recording of clips on the timeline. Works so much faster than reading it from the REC or PLY window and then creating a manual title (that doesn't count the seconds).

Let's say you have a 2 minute clip that starts at 31-Dec-2014, 23:59:00 and ends at 01-Jan-2015, 00:01:00, and you want to display the recording time, including the seconds, for like 10 seconds as in 5 seconds before and 5 seconds after 01-Jan-2015, 00:00:00.

There is no filter like that in EDIUS but you can export 2 files of 10 seconds with the needed timecode burn in and put them on the time line.
New Blue also has a filter for timecode. It allows you to input the TC or date manually and have it as a filter.
