  • Do I have a corrupted version of Edius ?

    I am beginning to think that I have a corrupted version of Edius . . . it just does not do what the instructions say that it is suppose to do ! ! !

    For example , I am trying to select the exact length of a clip ( 5 secs ) which I want to put in the timeline and this is what I doing ;

    (a) selecting the in point

    (b) marking + 500 + enter + outpoint . . .. ( which is supposed to move the playhead FORWARD 5 secs.

    BUT instead of going forward 5 secs ,it goes backwards (negative 5 secs) and Edius would not allow the clip to be dropped in the timeline.

    Am I doing something wrong ?

    In other words how do I select the exact length of a clip in the monitor that want to put in the timeline ?
