  • 1080 60p timeline to 60i

    Hi,

My footage is 1080 60p, so I set the project setting to 1080 60p.

I don't have any output to my monitor with the Spark card, so I presume that the Spark card doesn't support 1080 60p. So I want to change my project setting to 1080 60i or 1080 30p so that it be compatible with the Spark card to output to my monitor, but I don't see any presets to do this.

I know I could start the project from scratch and use a 1080 30p or 1080 50i preset, but I would loose what I have already done in my present project, so I just want to change my present project settings instead, but I can't.

    Am I missing something here?

I ran into this the other day. Give this a shot. Create a new 60i project. Then in the File menu, use the Import Sequences command and import the EZP file from your 60p project. That should bring in your entire 60p project into the new 60i project and you should be good to go. It worked for me.

The Spark will play your progressive footage out as interlaced automatically.
      HD Spark 59.94p to i.png
The screen shot show the HD Spark selected as the preview device and it stating clearly that it will show the progressive footage as interlaced. Did you see this popup?
Did you choose the correct project setting? It should be 1920x1080 59.94p. If you are using 60p, that is the problem.

Addition to Jerry: 10Bit output won't work, either.

Everything works just fine now that I changed my project to 8Bit.
