  • EDIUS rejects Nuendo 24bit mono WAV files

As the title says Edius can't deal with 24bit mono audio files from Steinberg Nuendo.
After processing it via ffmpeg by stream copy the result works fine.
    What is wrong?

ahahhh, I just re-read your post, 24bit mono

I think EDIUS has a history of not liking 24bit mono files, I had that issue with a 26 track live recording from a band, all software could play the files but not EDIUS

I have always gotten 24 bit mono files for most of my project in the past.
Most came from ProTools, but now it's Nuendo stuff.
I can help at the moment, but it would be nice to see Edius accepting Nuendo files.
BTW, stereo outputs from Nuendo at same parameters are playing really fine.

No, sadly I can't. I do not own Nuendo by myself so I can't create a test file.
I just have single mono files of the 5.1 deliveries here. All files are at length of around 82 minutes.
I would ask the content owner if I'm allowed to supply the LFE channel for testing purpose!

              Thanks!
