Hello,
I am using the new PX-270 Panasonic cameras and while the image quality is stunning, the editing is less than stellar.
I am editing a 4 camera shoot now and am getting a lot of freeze/crashes in multicam. I know this codec is sort of new but at what point is this an "Edius" issue or a computer power issue?
Right now I have rendered two of the camera streams and made HXQ files out of the rest. So no raw footage is being played in the timeline. So is this a codec issue? (the codec is still choppy no matter what).
The source footage was shot in 1080p60 but I am editing in 720p60 to be able to see on my external monitor. (10 bit as well). How much of a drag is the realtime downsample? Is that my issue?
I can post a crash report if anybody knows how to read it.
Thanks for your help as I am not used to having such a horrible editing experience with Edius.
