  • Would an expert EDIUS'er like to help out?

I'm still not 'getting' all the videos that i see on youtube (was Frank Spangler one of them?) by experts on how to make great videos.

May a hands on/jump right in and learn type of thing would help.

Would someone who has a very complex project like to donate the Edius 6.xx or Edius 7.xx EZP file?
Unless it's against forum rules, send a private msg or upload to a site like Filefactory, Sendspace, Box, Dropbox, whathaveyou.

    Thank you greatly!

Having an Edius project file, without the source files, will simply give you a bunch of empty containers. Not super-helpful by any stretch of the imagination.

Granted, Apple works it's dark magic by making bloated project files that if you were to peer inside you'd see a bunch of trans-coded stuff. Excellent thinking, in 2004.

I'd highly recommend a fair amount of play time with any software. Get in and make mistakes. I did. (and still do)

Come back and search here. There's a good chance every conceivable question has been asked. (twice)

To be honest, I don`t really see what is difficult about getting a video onto YouTube!
Irrespective how complex the video is, you chose what you want to show, mark in & mark out on the timeline, export as i.e. an H264. Then log in to your YT account, chose "upload" & navigate to where you exported your H264 file to!
Am I missing something here? This works for me :-)
      Check out these!

Yes you are missing something! I understood the OP to mean he is not understanding how to use/edit with Edius and styles and such. Not that he is having trouble uploading to YouTube.
