Unable to see Key 3 way colour corrector

I am trying to see the key function in the 3 way colour corrector.
I have applied a mask using the "mask video effect" to a section of video.
I then on the "inside" tab and select 3 way colour correction filter.
I then double click the filter to set it up.
When i go to select the mask display button nothing happens.
The Histogram button works.
If I apply the 3 way directly to the clip I can get a mask.
Buy I need to change colour of just a section of the clip, hence using the mask tool.
I have made sure the User settings/playback/combine filter layers is ticked.
Also I thought it was realtime, if I adjust the colours I cannot see anything happening, but if i alter the colours and click okay and return to timeline I can see the adjustments.
What am I doing wrong?

I am using Edius-7.4 and it works as can be seen at the picture.

I then double click the filter to set it up. ===> WHERE do you doubleclick ??
A simple click is satisfactory to open the 3-way (the most right icon beside the filtersetting-icon).

I must have something deselected somewhere?

Well I have kind of got it working?
It seems the mask window does not show the key but if i move it out of the way I can see the key in the right widow on the timeline?
Not sure why Edius is doing this, but at least I can now adjust the key.

In Mask, go to the top of the window and you will see an X button. To the right of that is the Function button. Check the top 2 options (you will have to do one at a time). Now you will see it in the Mask monitor
