  • Quick In Out Points

I have a large timeline, but 1 small area that I want to output a video file. Is there a quick method of choosing the in and out points for this? It won't change, and I know it to the frame. Some kind of macro to choose those?

Move the cursor to the start point and press 'I' then move the cursor to the out point and press 'O.' If it is a single clip, highlight the clip and double click the timeline header(ruler).

Not what I meant. On a large timeline, to always go back and highlight these points takes a good 30-40 seconds. Would love to just automate it.

I am not sure what you want. Do you have Timecodes and want to go to those? If so, under the monitor click on the appropriate box of In or Out or Duration, type in the Timecode and click enter. It will create the In and Out points for you.

add that section between in and out to batch

it will stay in batch forever unless you manually remove it
