Change your project to 8 bit,
10 bit is not in the Bluray specs

I did change it to 8bit and it made no difference. I even changed the project settings all the way down to SD - same problem.

        Try changing the disk
I have seen brand new disks that are faulty
If you have a BDR_E rewritable worth a try
Works every time here unless the disk is not a BD
Just tried changing my test project to 10 bit and it output a Bluray but the resulting file was only 8 bit, interesting
I was sure I could not make a disk from a 10 bit project but have not tried for a while, maybe because the original is only 8 bit

If you can get to the write tab and the option to write to disc is greyed out then that would imply either it doesn't like the discs in the drive and thinks it's empty/not the right kind of disc for the job, or there's a problem with the drive itself

I have tried changing disks (several). It is the correct type of disk for the job. The drive is fine because I have burned data disks with Nero.

Fixed the problem. Looks like the disks were bad, a whole bunch of them (14). I will return them for a refund. Tried a couple of new ones, different brand and they work fine. Thanks for all of your responses.

What brand/source were the bad discs?

avoid buying Blu-ray with golden looking burn surface (LTH type)

                    use Verbatim HTL type

And those Memorex disks did have a golden tone burn side.

Never, ever, never, ever, ever use Memorex blanks. Probably the worst I've used. And that was 20 years ago. I guess they still ****. Whoaaa, they wipe out my word: S-U-C-K. That's a bit crazy.

The LTH Disks require a burner capable of burning to those. The LG-BH16LSO being such a burner.
