    My test was with soft age on and I had no problems at all...

      Soft edge causes my E6300 system to slowly empty the buffer. Adding any degree of transparency guarantees timeline death.

      Buffer is at its' smallest possible.

          No problem here (with SD footage), even with soft on and doing a chromakey at the same time. Buffer fills and stays filled.
