Sony PMW 200 not recognized by Edius

Hi All,

I have a friend of mine who bought the Sony PMW 200 camera recently.
If he shoots without any of the Sony preset profiles Edius recognizes the file and he is able to import it. He is using Edius 7.31. When he uses any of the Sony preset profiles he cannot import the file into Edius. The only thing that shows in the XD Browser is an x in the lower right corner of the clip.

Has anyone experienced this? If so is there a soloution or is this a Sony issue?

Use Sony Content Browser

Hi

It very easy use Sony Content Browser, All you have to do is draging the Sony-file into Edius Bin

what about the EDIUS source browser? right click all selected clips and add and transfer to bin, high res only

before you do, be sure to turn off waveform generation as part of the transfer otherwise EDIUS may stop responding for a long time
