  • Same old TMP pro question

I asked this question before, but somehow the discussion went to whether or not 16X9 was the new standard or if 4X3 was dead or not. So back to my question. Is TMP going away? Do I need to be looking for a new titling program or is GV really working on a fix for the 16X9 problem with 4.52. And if they are working on a fix does anyone know when this might be available.

    Hi Tom,

A fix for the 4x3, 16x9 problem is under way. It will be here shortly.

AFA the future of TMP, I don't think anyone outside of Japan knows, and I am not sure they do. Personally, I think something different will appear, but I have no facts to support that conclusion. And if I am correct, I have no idea when that will be.

Thanks for the reply Pat. We are doing most of our stuff in 16X9 so I'll just hang on to 4.51c and see what will happen.

We are aiming for a realease hopefully later in November. It's supposed to resolve this particular issue.
