  • Videos on YouTube go fuzzy after a few seconds.

It seems everytime I upload a video made in Edius or Tmpg 5 to YouTube after just a few seconds the video degrades noticeably. I noticed it also on a link on here to a video that someone posted that it happened to their video also.

    I am uploading 720 50p.

Any clue as to why this happens and is there something I am doing on my end causing this to happen?

    hi !

youtube tries to maintain apparent fps at the cost of resolution. If the bandwith with your upstream provider is too low or if the network path round-trip delay is bad, the player will automatically reduce the frame size.

You can tell the player to lock on 720p, i.e. disabling auto adjust, using its "settings" menu.
